Note that patterns can be a combination of multiple patterns at the same time. For example, streams commonly have stairs or rolls in them.

Refers to buttons that must be played by one hand while the other is handling a laser.

Hand-trip

Refers to buttons that must be played by the opposite hand e.g. left hand plays A/B/L or vice versa. All hand-trip patterns are also one-hand but not all one-hand patterns are hand-trip.

Illegal

Refers to patterns where transitions from buttons to lasers (or vice versa) are too fast or inputs are required by a hand that is already occupied. More commonly found in charts from older versions of SDVX.
